Too much is a bad thing

An old quote, I don't remember who first said it. And maybe a bit overplayed, I'm not sure.
This quote resonates with me, though. In all honesty, I think "open mindedness" is one of those things, like "tolerance", that we all need a certain amount of, but too much of it is destructive. You have to draw the line somewhere.

"we have to respect everyone's opinions!"

even someone who argues that murder and rape are a-ok? Or someone who thinks women are nothing but slave-whores or gays are pieces of shit or black people are worthless? No. Not everyone's opinions deserve respect.
