Let's look at the facts, shall we?

Pedophilia:
A psychiatric disorder in adults or late adolescents, characterized by a sexual interest in prepubescent children.

Shotacon/lolicon:
A genre of manga and anime wherein pre-pubescent or pubescent characters are depicted in a suggestive or erotic manner.

To simplify, shota and loli depicts children in a sexual context. Pedophilia is the sexual attraction to children. Shota/loli is for pedophiles. By supporting shota/loli, you ARE supporting pedophilia. Everyone got that?

To make more clear points.


There's a difference between a child predator and a pedophile as proven by brain imaging scans done using convicted participants. (The numbers don't account non criminals)


People should only ever be judged by the contents of their character not the paraphilia they're born with, the actions they commit should be what you judge.


It's innocent until proven guilty not guilty and I give no fucks if you're proven innocent. A fantasy says nothing about what they'll do in reality, people can have the most fucked up fanatises yet still find the reality disgusting; it doesn't shut off centers in the brain responsible for moral decision making, unless the person shows clear signs of psychopathy then there's no reason to judge the fantasies they have.


With a psychopathic mind the brain centers responsible for moral decision making aren't activated, if they have this particular paraphilia then you should worry.
