Give Peace a Chance?

Yeah, good luck with that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for ending the war. We have no business in Afghanistan or Iraq and need to get out. Now.
However, let's look at the other side of the coin. The truth I think many people don't seem to understand is that radical Islam hates the western way of life and the things we stand for. Extremists believe that we are infidels who are inferior and do not deserve to live. Additionally, any "believer" who kills an infidel is highly esteemed. That is what the naive peace protesters fail to recognize, that even if we back off and "give peace a chance", they will NOT.

What are we supposed to do, bend over and beg for forgiveness for our infidel ways? Convert to Islam and kill the filthy nonbelievers?

Addendum: Just so we're clear, radical Islams and religious extremists are not the same as your everyday Muslim or Islamic. We are talking about the radicals, not the common everyday folks.
